Sepispers AR 7001 (hypromellose - 2-4%, titanium dioxide CI 77891 - 25-31%, propylene glycol - 30-40%, water - up to 100%) - 0.7 mg.
pharmachologic effect
Indications
Sleep Disorders, Insomnia.
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to the drug.
- glaucoma;
- difficulty urinating due to benign prostatic hyperplasia;
- pregnancy;
- lactation;
- children and adolescents up to 15 years.
Side effects
Side effects associated with the anticholinergic effect of the drug: dry mouth, accommodation disturbances, constipation, urinary retention.
Interaction
With simultaneous administration with antidepressants, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, clonidine, opioid analgesics, antipsychotics, tranquilizers, an increase in the inhibitory effect of Donormil on the central nervous system is observed.
With the simultaneous administration of Donormil with atropine or other atropine-like drugs, imipramine, antiparkinsonian anticholinergics, disopyramide, phenothiazine derivatives, the risk of anticholinergic side effects increases: dry mouth, constipation, urinary retention.
Ethanol enhances the sedative effect of Donormil.
How to take, course of administration and dosage
Patients over the age of 15 are prescribed 1 / 2-1 tablets 15-30 minutes before bedtime. The duration of treatment is up to 2 weeks.
Before taking the effervescent tablet is dissolved in 1/2 cup of water; the coated tablet is washed down with water.
Overdose
Symptoms : drowsiness, agitation, mydriasis, accommodation paralysis, hyperemia of the skin of the face and neck, hyperthermia, dry mouth, convulsions, sinus tachycardia. The phase of excitement and convulsions may be preceded by a state of depression.
Treatment : if necessary, carry out symptomatic therapy. According to indications, anticonvulsants and mechanical ventilation are used.
Special instructions
Patients who are shown a diet with a restriction of salt should be aware that each effervescent tablet contains 484 mg of sodium.
While taking Donormil, alcohol should be avoided.
The patient should be informed that when waking up in the middle of the night after taking the drug, lethargy or dizziness is possible.
Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and control mechanisms
Caution is advised to prescribe the drug to patients involved in potentially hazardous activities that require increased attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.
