Hepatoprotective agent

Indications

- chronic hepatitis;

- cirrhosis of the liver;

- fatty degeneration of the liver of various etiologies;

- toxic liver damage;

- alcoholic hepatitis;

- impaired liver function in other somatic diseases;

- pregnancy toxicosis;

- prevention of recurrence of gallstone formation;

- psoriasis (as a means of adjuvant therapy);

- radiation syndrome.

Contraindications

- children under 12 years old (lack of sufficient evidence);

- known hypersensitivity to phosphatidylcholine or other auxiliary ingredients of the drug.

Side effects

Essentiale® Forte N is generally well tolerated.

In order to assess the incidence of side effects, the following definitions are used: very often (> 1/10), often (> 1 / 100- <1/10), infrequently (> 1 / 1000- <1/100), rarely (> 1 / 10 000 - <1/1000), very rarely (<1/10 000), unknown frequency (according to the available data it is impossible to establish the frequency of occurrence).

From the digestive system: possibly - a feeling of discomfort in the stomach, soft stools, diarrhea.

Allergic reactions: in very rare cases, skin allergic reactions (rash, exanthema, urticaria, itching) are possible.

Drug interaction of the drug is not described.

How to take, course of administration and dosage

Inside. Capsules should be swallowed whole with plenty of water (about 1 cup).

For adolescents over 12 years old and weighing more than 43 kg, as well as for adults, Essentiale® Forte N is recommended to take 2 capsules 3 times / day with meals.

As a rule, the duration of use is not limited.
