Composition

Active ingredients:

 mebicar 0.3 g

Excipients:

 povidone (polyvinylpyrrolidone high molecular weight) - 0.0015 g;

calcium stearate - 0.0015 g

Pharmacological action

The drug belongs to anxiolytic, stress-protective, nootropic drugs.

Improves oxygen supply of myocardial tissues; normalizes impaired electrolyte blood balance, potassium ion content in plasma, red blood cells and myocardial cells; helps to strengthen protein synthesis and increase cell energy resources.

Regulates disturbed night sleep without having a direct sleeping pill. It does not have a cholinolithic and myorelaxant effect, does not disturb coordination of movements. Facilitates or relieves nicotine withdrawal.

Pharmacokinetics

It is excreted in full in the urine during the day.

Indications

  • neurotic disorders (irritability, emotional lability, anxiety, anxiety-depressive, phobic, panic disorders) developed as a result of depleting psycho-emotional, neuropsychiatric and physical exertion;
  • in complex therapy for the treatment of patients with cardialgia, coronary heart disease and rehabilitation after myocardial infarction;
  • to reduce tobacco smoking attraction;
  • neurosis-like conditions in alcoholics to reduce pathological attraction to alcohol and psychoactive substances;
  • to improve the tolerance of neuroleptics and tranquilizers.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity

Side effects

Allergic reactions (skin itching), at high doses - short-term slight decrease in blood pressure, hyperthermia (increase in body temperature by 1–1.5 °C), dyspeptic disorders.

Reducing blood pressure and body temperature is not indications for withdrawal of the drug and is normalized independently.

Interaction

Enhances the effect of sleeping pills and narcotic drugs.

How to take, course of administration and dosage

Inside, regardless of meals.

0.3-0.9 g 2-3 times a day.

The maximum single dose is 3 g, daily dose is 10 g. Course for prevention and treatment - from several days to 2-3 months, depending on the situation, for mental illnesses - up to 6 months.
