methyluracil;
Excipients:
ointment base (medical petroleum jelly, water lanolin) up to 100 g
Indications
- wounds (relatively "clean") or phase II of the wound process, incl. with thermal burns and mechanical trauma
- photodermatosis
- bedsores
- diaper rash of the II degree
- abscesses
- boils
- erysipelas (in the presence of extensive bullous elements)
- radiation damage to the skin (prevention), radioepitheliitis
- late radiation damage to the vagina
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Side effects
Extremely rare: hyperemia, itching.
How to take, course of administration and dosage
The ointment is applied to the damaged areas daily, 5-10 g daily for 15-30 days.
The ointment is used in loose tampons for radiation dermatitis and late radiation damage to the vagina.
