A prophylactic agent based on a gel with bacteriophages "Phagodent" is intended for the prevention of purulent-inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity caused by pathogenic strains of bacteria. "Phagodent" is used for acute and chronic gingivitis, chronic periodontitis in the stage of exacerbation and remission, peri-implantitis, mucositis, acute and chronic aphthous stomatitis, glossitis.
Fagodent can also be used before surgical interventions (including before curettage of periodontal pockets, flap operations, frenulo- and vestibuloplasty, tooth extraction), in case of trauma (including after surgery, tooth preparation, gum retraction, use of separation matrices , removal of supra- and subgingival dental deposits) and burns of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, gums, tongue, lips in order to prevent inflammatory complications.
It can be used for preventive purposes.
Recommendations for use
- Phagodent is applied and / or rubbed into the gum. Direct application of the product into the oral cavity and its even distribution with the tongue is allowed (Phagodent is safe when swallowed). After using Phagodent, the oral cavity is not rinsed and food is not taken for 40 minutes.
- Phagodent is used to treat a periodontal pocket, a focus of suppuration in the area of ​​a dental implant (if necessary, use a dental instrument).
Description
Phagodent contains a complex of 56 types of bacteriophages from the collection of OOO NPTs "MicroMir", which suppress the growth of the following pathogenic bacteria:
