Picamilon also has a tranquilizing, psychostimulating, antiplatelet and antioxidant effect.

Picamilon improves the functional state of the brain due to the normalization of tissue metabolism and the effect on cerebral circulation (increases the volumetric and linear velocity of cerebral blood flow, reduces the resistance of cerebral vessels, inhibits platelet aggregation, improves microcirculation).

With a course intake, Picamilon increases physical and mental performance, reduces headache, improves memory, normalizes sleep; contributes to the reduction or disappearance of feelings of anxiety, tension, fear; improves the condition of patients with motor and speech disorders.

 Depressive states of late age - 40-200 mg per day for 2-3 doses, the optimal interval is 60-120 mg per day, for 1.5-3 months. As antiasthenic and anxiolytic drugs - 40-80 mg per day, if necessary - up to 200-300 mg per day, for 1-1.5 months. With alcoholism during withdrawal period - 100-150 mg per day, with a short course of 6-7 days; with more persistent disorders outside withdrawal, a daily dose of 40-60 mg for 4-5 weeks.

To stop acute uncomplicated intoxication with ethanol as part of complex therapy, a saturating dose of 5 mg / kg and a supporting dose of 1.56 mg / kg / h in a volume of 2.5 l of the infusion solution is administered for 4 hours in the morning and evening. To restore working capacity and with increased loads - 60-80 mg per day for 1-1.5 months, for athletes in the same dose, for 2 weeks of the training period.

Solution:

Intravenously drip or jet (slowly), intramuscularly.

Before drip administration, the contents of the ampoule are dissolved in 200 ml of 0.9% NaCl solution. In case of chronic disorders of cerebral circulation - in/in or in/m, 100-200 mg, 1-2 times a day, in a daily dose of 20-40 mg. The course of treatment is 15-30 days. In asthenic conditions, depending on the severity of the disease, except for oral administration - v/m, in a daily dose of 20-40 mg (2-4 ml of 10% solution), within 1 month.

Oral solution:
