Active substance
animal prostate drug - 5 mg.
Pharmacological action
Helps to reduce edema, leukocyte infiltration and thrombosis of the prostate vein, normalizes the secretory function of epithelial cells, increases the number of lecithin grains in the secretion of acinus, stimulates the muscle tone of the bladder.
Reduces thrombosis, has antiplatelet activity.
Indications
Chronic prostatitis; complications after prostate surgery.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity
Children and adolescents under 18 years of age.Side effects
Allergic reactions.
Interaction
There are no clinically significant consequences of the interaction of the drug Prostakor® with other drugs.
How to take, course and dosage
Intramuscularly 5-10 mg once a day for 5-10 days.
If necessary, a second course is carried out (in 1-6 months).
Overdose
Cases of overdose of Prostacor® have not been described.
Special instructions
Maltose contained in Prostacor® may affect blood and urine glucose levels in laboratory determination.
