Composition
Active substance:
glucosamine hydrochloride 500 mg;
chondroitin sodium sulfate 400 mg.
Excipients:
stearic acid,
magnesium stearate,
manganese sulfate.

Indications
- degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the joints and spine: osteoarthritis of the I-III degree, osteochondrosis.
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity;
- severe chronic renal failure;
- pregnancy;
- lactation period;
- age up to 15 years.
The drug should be prescribed with caution in diabetes mellitus, bleeding tendency, bronchial asthma.
Side effects
Teraflex® is well tolerated by patients.
There may be gastrointestinal disorders (epigastric pain, flatulence, diarrhea, constipation), dizziness, headache, leg pain and peripheral edema, drowsiness, insomnia, tachycardia, allergic reactions.
Interaction
Improves the absorption of tetracyclines, reduces the effect of semi-synthetic penicillins and chloramphenicol.
The drug is compatible with NSAIDs and glucocorticosteroids.
Chondroitin sulfate can enhance the effect of anticoagulants.
How to take, course of administration and dosage
The recommended duration of treatment is 3 to 6 months.
If necessary, it is possible to carry out repeated courses of treatment, the duration of which is set individually.
Overdose
Symptoms: cases of overdose are unknown. In case of an overdose of chondroitin sulfate, hemorrhagic rash, nausea, and vomiting are possible.
Treatment: gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy.
Description

Teraflex is a modern chondroprotector manufactured in the USA according to Bayer's high quality standards.
It has been proven (3) that Teraflex promotes:

Teraflex must be taken in courses, the effect of treatment can occur gradually and is intended to persist for a long time (8). The course of treatment is from 3 to 6 months: the first three weeks are prescribed for a capsule 3 times a day; on the following days, take a capsule 2 times a day.

In case of adverse reactions from the digestive system, the dose of the drug should be reduced by 2 times, and in the absence of improvement, the drug should be canceled.
