pharmachologic effect
Trekrezan is an immunomodulating drug with pronounced adaptogenic properties. The drug stimulates the production of α- and γ-interferons, enhances and corrects the body's immune status by activating cellular and humoral immunity, and stimulates the phagocytic activity of macrophages.
The drug strengthens the body's immune system, increases endurance during physical and mental stress, reduces the effect of various toxins, increases the body's resistance to hypoxia, low and high temperatures and other unfavorable environmental factors.
The drug has a pronounced antitoxic effect in case of poisoning with ethanol, organic solvents, heavy metal salts.
Indications
- to increase immunity (prevention and treatment of colds, flu, ARVI and other viral and bacterial diseases);
- to increase physical, mental performance and prevent overwork, increase the body's resistance to various stressful influences (hypoxia, overheating, hypothermia);
- in case of secondary immunodeficiency states, incl. against the background of prolonged antibiotic therapy;
- as part of complex therapy for poisoning with salts of heavy metals;
- as part of the complex therapy of alcohol withdrawal syndrome.
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to any component of the drug;
- children under 12 years of age (due to the lack of data on the effectiveness and safety of use);
- pregnancy;
- lactation period;
- hereditary lactose intolerance;
- Lactase deficiency or impaired absorption of glucose and galactose.

Interaction
No undesirable interactions with other medicinal products were noted.
How to take, course of administration and dosage
- To increase immunity and prevent colds in adults and children over 12 years old - 0.2 g / day for 7-14 days.
- During the treatment of colds, flu, ARVI for adults and children over 12 years of age - on the first day 0.6 g / day, then 0.2 g / day daily for 7 days.
- To increase physical and mental performance and enhance the body's resistance to various stressful influences - on the first day 0.6 g / day, then daily 0.2 g / day in a course for 7 days.
- In case of poisoning with salts of heavy metals - 0.4-0.6 g / day daily for at least 5 days.
- To reduce the manifestations of alcohol withdrawal syndrome - 0.4-0.6 g / day daily for 5 days.
- If necessary, the treatment is repeated at intervals of 1-2 months between courses.
